Brief History of Idaho Falls
I’ve lived in Idaho Falls now for 8 years. I have always been fascinated by the wonderful history. Did you know the area has been called three different names? The community was originally called Taylor’s Crossing, then Eagle Rock until the name was changed to Idaho Falls, in 1891. I found this out one day while I was talking to a friend about a show I love called, “Parks and Rec.” In order to get the joke, you may have to watch a few episodes. You can read more about Idaho Falls’ History.
Things to do
Idaho Falls is such a beautiful place to live and raise a family. I already know of many things to do and there are even more I haven’t yet discovered. Freeman park is a great place to play frisbee golf or to walk your mini pig. During the summertime, they even play outdoor movies at the park. We have some of the best sights within a short distance of us. Yellowstone National Park is just over an hour north and Craters of the Moon is only an hour west. But best of all, if you’re looking for things to do in Idaho falls indoors, escape to South State Street. What better way to take an adventure by the horns than to book an escape room that both sparks the interest of many and challenges your mind.
Escape South State Street is a unique place located just 10 minutes south of Idaho Falls where mystery and adventures awaits you. If you’re the type of family or friends who don’t mind a good game of cat and mouse, then book our room called Captured.
